VT LeeBoy Secures $11M Contract for Pavers from Tacom
Contract marks VT LeeBoy’s first military sale
Lincolnton,
NC, July 15, 2009 –
VT LeeBoy Inc (VT LeeBoy), a subsidiary of VT Systems Inc (VT Systems), has
achieved a new milestone with the award of a contract for over US$11m from the
US Army Contracting Command for asphalt paving equipment. Its first military contract for paving
equipment calls for VT LeeBoy to supply its model 8816B bituminous paver to the
US Army over a five-year timeframe.
The highly maneuverable 8816B, capable of high production output and
operation in tight, confined areas, will be used for military base paving and
maintenance projects.
