Peter Panfil Named Vice President and General Manager of Liebert AC Power
Columbus, Ohio [April 10, 2008] – Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson and the global leader in enabling Business-Critical Continuity, announced today that Peter A. Panfil has been named vice president and general manager of Liebert AC Power, Emerson Network Power. In this role, Panfil will function as the global technology leader for power products and will have direct responsibility for leading global product management decisions and engineering resource allocations for global new product development programs.

Panfil is one of the foremost authorities on data center power technologies as evidenced by his participation in AFCOM’s Data Center Institute Board, frequent presentations at industry trade shows and conferences, and regular expert commentary in leading IT, facilities and engineering media outlets. He has more than 25 years of experience in embedded controls and mission-critical power. Panfil began his career at Liebert in 1994 as a Senior Development Scientist and held several managerial positions in the Engineering group. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from The Ohio State University and has completed coursework in Strategic Management at the University of Michigan.
