OROS Introduces the New Mobi-Pack--The First Multichannel Field Analyzer and Recorder for Vibration Diagnostics

The Mobi-PackTM is a 16 channel all-in-one vibration analyzer. With this new product, OROS, noise and vibration specialist in rugged systems pushes one step further in its product range towards the tough field environments. The Mobi-PackTM is designed for vibration specialists traveling everywhere to troubleshoot vibration issues from an offshore oil platform to the turbine side of a nuclear power plant. The Mobi-PackTM can be practically carried and used in the field thanks to its rugged design. Because of its light weight, it can be checked with luggage or even carried on board an aircraft.

The Mobi-PackTM thrives in dirty, dusty, and humid places or magnetic fields making no compromise on the power and precision of the instrument. Shocks and vibrations during transport or even operation will not prevent it from acquiring the critical data it is meant to capture.

Based on the well proven OROS 3-Series technology, it combines all functionalities and possibilities of the 3-Series analyzers in a package made for the field: tough and rough. The instrument is based on state-of-the-art technology: 24-bits ADC, 40 kHz bandwidth, 100 kHz sampling rate, TEDS, etc. It can both analyze real time data or record raw time data for later processing.  A removable Mobi-DiskTM is built-in to efficiently share the acquired data. Features such as the desk extension leaf or the touch and measure possibility will make its operation very handy. The interface software is easy to use and its functions applied to the rotating machinery field and vibration testing. The range of applications goes from impact testing for structural analysis to rotating applications as order tracking or machinery balancing.

It is friendly and open to other applications and data can be conveniently exported for other treatments.
